Overview
Under the general direction of the Finance Manager, the Junior Accounts Assistant will be responsible to process daily receipts of firm and client funds and any other accounting and finance duties, as assigned.
Key Support Tasks and Essential Duties
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Record invoices, verifying the correct application of VAT
- Communicate with other departments to apply the proper codes for recordings
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure costs were correctly allocated, in respect of the budget
- Prepare courtesy copies and support in communication with clients and suppliers
- Assist the finance department with month and year end closing activities, as required.

Skills and Attributes
- Previous relevant experience (1-2 years)
- Fluent in Italian and intermediate skills in English (B1 or higher)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of meeting deadlines while being attentive to detail
- Ability to work well both in a team and independently
- Ideally you will have worked in a similarly dynamic environment, previous experience within a law firm is appreciated but not mandatory
- Passionate and enthusiastic about providing exceptional client service
- The integrity to handle highly confidential information appropriately.
