About the Stagiaire programme

The programme is for a period of up to 5 months during which the Stagiaire will work closely with the firm’s Litigation department. There are also opportunities to work with lawyers in other areas of the firm such as Corporate, Real Estate, Family and Private Client and Tax.

The role provides practical experience and insight into the work of a global law firm. Daily tasks vary from assisting in the translation of complex legal documentation to assisting actively in specific cases or liaising with Italian clients or colleagues. Stagiaires are often asked to advise colleagues on certain aspects of Italian law by way of comparison to the English law.

The stagiaire programme is open to Italian law graduates and newly qualified Avvocati.

Please note, there is no deadline date for applications but generally all applications received up until the end of July of the preceding year are considered for places the following year. We therefore often recruit up to a year in advance.

Key skills and experience

• An Italian law degree
• Fluency in English & Italian
• Familiarity with technology e.g. Excel, Word etc
• Strong research skills
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Strong academics
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Previous internship experience in a law firm

• The programme lasts up to 5 months
• 9.30am – 5.30pm but flexibility is a must
